Tow logistics are the main reason. A single-car pickup means a flatbed dispatched, driver paid, fuel burned for one vehicle. Two cars in the same driveway means one dispatch covering both — and on rollback equipment that hauls two compact cars at once, the per-vehicle cost drops further. That efficiency typically translates to $25–$100 more per car versus selling them individually over weeks.

Three or more vehicles often justifies sending a rollback plus a wheel-lift truck on the same run, or scheduling back-to-back loads. For a 5-vehicle estate cleanout in Concord or Gastonia, you can usually negotiate a single bundled price that meaningfully beats five separate transactions.

Year, make, model, and condition for each vehicle — not necessarily VINs, but enough detail to quote. Address and access details (is everything in one driveway, are some cars in a backyard requiring backup access, are any cars blocked in by others, do any need tires aired up to roll). Title status per vehicle — clean, lost, salvage, or estate paperwork.

Sending a few cell-phone photos by text speeds the quote dramatically when you have four or more cars. We can usually quote a 3-vehicle pickup in 15 minutes by phone, and a 10-vehicle cleanout within a few hours of receiving photos and details.

For estate cleanouts, executor paperwork (Letters Testamentary, Letters of Administration) lets us purchase vehicles where the registered owner has passed. Bring the death certificate copy and probate paperwork to pickup.

Mixed-title situations are common — some cars with clean titles, some with lost titles, some without registration history at the address for years. We can usually work through it case by case. We coordinate equipment based on the count. Two cars usually means one rollback over two trips or one larger flatbed making one round. Four or more vehicles usually means coordinated equipment on a half-day window. Six-plus turns into a project we schedule a day for, often with two trucks running in parallel.

Payment happens at pickup the same way as a single sale — cash, check, or Zelle, before vehicles are loaded. For larger cleanouts, we'll often pay a deposit at the first vehicle and the balance at the last, but the total is committed in writing before any car moves.
