How we handle your information

When you request a quote we collect what you type into the form: name, phone number, vehicle year / make / model, condition details, and pickup location. If you call us, we collect the same details over the phone.

Buyers who use our wholesale portal additionally provide a business email, company contact details, and operational preferences (coverage areas, vehicle types, standing offers). Payment details for buyer fees are entered directly into our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we don't ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or driver's license numbers through this website.

• Give you a quote and coordinate a pickup window.
• Route the vehicle to the right local buyer in our network.
• Generate invoices and pickup paperwork for the buyer who took the vehicle.
• Send transactional emails (quote confirmations, pickup updates, buyer portal notices).
• Respond to follow-up questions and improve how the service works.

To run the service we use a small set of well-known providers. They only receive what they need to do their job:

• Database & auth: Supabase (PostgreSQL, authentication, file storage for vehicle photos).
• Payments: Stripe processes buyer-side payments. Card details are entered into Stripe directly.
• Email: Google Workspace / Gmail for transactional and operational email.
• Hosting: Cloudflare-backed edge hosting for the public site and buyer portal.

If a local buyer in our network picks up your vehicle, they receive the contact info and address needed to complete that pickup — same as any local towing job.

We may also disclose information when required by law (subpoena, court order, or a request from law enforcement).

• HTTPS / TLS across the entire site and buyer portal.
• Buyer portal sign-in with per-row access controls in the database, so each buyer can only read or change their own records.
• Admin actions require an admin role and are routed through audited server functions, not direct database writes from the browser.
• Payment card data is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers.
• Customer-uploaded vehicle photos are stored in a private bucket that requires authentication to access.
• Secrets and API keys live in server-side secret storage; the browser only receives the keys it needs to render the public site.

Security is a shared responsibility — we operate the application; hosting, database, and payments providers operate the underlying platforms; and you're responsible for keeping your account credentials private.

Quote and pickup records are retained for our normal business and tax recordkeeping needs. Buyer portal records are retained for the life of the account plus a reasonable period for accounting and dispute resolution.

You can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you by emailing cash4carsclt@gmail.com. We'll honor the request unless we're required to keep specific records (for example, a completed transaction's title paperwork).

We use cookies and similar storage to keep buyers signed in to the portal and to remember basic site preferences. We don't run third-party ad-tracking pixels on this site. Any analytics we use is aggregated traffic data, not individual profiles sold to third parties.

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we have about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Opt out of non-transactional email by replying to the message or contacting us.
