How we handle your information

When you request a quote we collect what you type into the form: name, phone number, vehicle year / make / model, condition details, and pickup location. If you call us, we collect the same details over the phone.

Buyers who use our wholesale portal additionally provide a business email, company contact details, and operational preferences (coverage areas, vehicle types, standing offers). Payment details for buyer fees are entered directly into our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we don't ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or driver's license numbers through this website.

• Give you a quote and coordinate a pickup window.
• Route the vehicle to the right local buyer in our network.
• Generate invoices and pickup paperwork for the buyer who took the vehicle.
• Send transactional emails (quote confirmations, pickup updates, buyer portal notices).
• Respond to follow-up questions and improve how the service works.

To run the service we use a small set of well-known providers. They only receive what they need to do their job:

• Database & auth: Supabase (PostgreSQL, authentication, file storage for vehicle photos).
• Payments: Stripe processes buyer-side payments. Card details are entered into Stripe directly.
• Email: Google Workspace / Gmail for transactional and operational email.
• Hosting: Cloudflare-backed edge hosting for the public site and buyer portal.

If a local buyer in our network picks up your vehicle, they receive the contact info and address needed to complete that pickup — same as any local towing job.

We may also disclose information when required by law (subpoena, court order, or a request from law enforcement).

• HTTPS / TLS across the entire site and buyer portal.
• Buyer portal sign-in with per-row access controls in the database, so each buyer can only read or change their own records.
• Admin actions require an admin role and are routed through audited server functions, not direct database writes from the browser.
• Payment card data is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers.
• Customer-uploaded vehicle photos are stored in a private bucket that requires authentication to access.
• Secrets and API keys live in server-side secret storage; the browser only receives the keys it needs to render the public site.

Security is a shared responsibility — we operate the application; hosting, database, and payments providers operate the underlying platforms; and you're responsible for keeping your account credentials private.

Quote and pickup records are retained for our normal business and tax recordkeeping needs. Buyer portal records are retained for the life of the account plus a reasonable period for accounting and dispute resolution.

You can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you by emailing cash4carsclt@gmail.com. We'll honor the request unless we're required to keep specific records (for example, a completed transaction's title paperwork).

We use cookies and similar storage to keep buyers signed in to the portal and to remember basic site preferences (such as your in-progress quote answers, so you don't lose them if you navigate to another page).

We also use the following analytics and advertising-measurement tools to understand which pages help sellers get a quote and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Each is configured to collect standard traffic and event data:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — page views, quote-form events, phone-click events. We do not enable Google Signals or cross-device user-ID joining.
• Meta Pixel — page views and quote-form events for conversion measurement of Facebook and Instagram ads. Hashed contact details (name, phone, city) may be sent to Meta to help match conversions to ad clicks; we do not send raw payment or sensitive personal data.

We do not sell your information to data brokers. If you prefer to opt out, you can use your browser's "Do Not Track" / "Global Privacy Control" setting, install an ad-blocker, or email cash4carsclt@gmail.com and we will suppress your contact details from future measurement events.

How we collect mobile numbers. Mobile phone numbers may be collected when customers request a quote through our website or provide the number during a customer interaction with our AI receptionist or a company representative. Providing a mobile number is not the same as consenting to SMS — SMS is a separate, optional opt-in.

How SMS consent is captured. You may opt in to text messages from Express Cash For Junk Cars Charlotte in two ways: (1) by checking the unchecked SMS consent checkbox on our website quote form, or (2) by giving verbal consent while speaking with our AI receptionist or a company representative on the phone. The website checkbox is unchecked by default and never pre-selected.

What the SMS program covers. Mobile information is used to provide quote updates and follow-up, pickup scheduling, driver status and ETA updates, transaction confirmations, and one post-sale request for honest feedback about your experience. Message frequency varies depending on your transaction. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required to receive a quote or sell a vehicle.

What SMS consent records include. When you opt in we store the phone number, the date and time of consent, the consent source (for example, “Website Quote Form” or “Verbal — phone call”), the exact wording of the consent language shown to you, the consent wording version, and — for web opt-ins — the URL of the page where consent was given. These records are kept in our secured database and are used only to prove valid opt-in and to honor opt-out requests.

Mobile information and SMS consent will not be sold. Express Cash For Junk Cars Charlotte does not sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to anyone, for any purpose.

Mobile information and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent may only be shared with service providers necessary to deliver or support the messaging service (for example, Twilio and mobile carriers), subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

How to revoke SMS consent. You can revoke SMS consent at any time by replying STOPto any text message from us, by calling 704-953-5867, or by emailing cash4carsclt@gmail.com. Once revoked, we will stop sending SMS messages to that number.

Access, correction, and deletion. Customers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information (including SMS consent records) by emailing cash4carsclt@gmail.com or calling 704-953-5867. We will honor the request unless we are required to keep specific records (for example, completed-transaction title paperwork or the opt-out record itself, which we retain to ensure we do not text you again).

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we have about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Opt out of non-transactional email by replying to the message or contacting us.
• Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.
